The Mathemagic Computer Tutor is an excellent tool for revision. If a topic is being revised the student can work through the eight or so concepts under that major topic as many times as they wish because each time they work through the concepts they receive different questions.
The Mathemagic Computer Tutor enables a student to work at their own pace through the various topics and provides instruction as required. The program provides the student with immediate feedback and often allows them to access and print a model solution. However, if the student accesses the solution before completing the problem they receive no marks. Parents, teachers and students are able to print out the scores gained on any topic and therefore identify areas that require further attention .
Free-format Mathematics
Free-format mathematics is unique. It allows a student to solve a problem anyway he or she chooses, so long as it is mathematically correct. The program checks the student's progress line by line so that the student is made immediately aware if they have an error.

With this technology a student may complete 40, 50 or more exercises in a lesson of 40 minutes. Also students are able to work at their own pace so that the more able student can master the topic and move on quickly and the less able student can work through the exercises as often as they like until they master the topic.
